Day 8
by Rob Secker
Jun 14, 2008

A nice early morning again. A now easy 72 miles lay ahead of us. It was a beautiful flat ride the whole way. A pretty strong cross wind got in the way but it wasn't much to complain about. A lot of people complained of saddle/butt problems. Perhaps it was the bumpy road. Who knows....

We're staying in a little town called Watonga, Ok. Again we were treated to a pizza dinner by the church. The gals are staying in a little house owned by the church across the street but the guys have a really cool spot. Down in the church basement is where the youth of the parish hang out. There is an air hockey table, couches, an old 1984 Nintendo AND and Nintendo Wii. We're having a lot of fun.

A bunch of the kids (Watonga kids) all went out to a rollerskating rink in the next town. We had races and a limbo contest. A lady that can only be described as a human pretzel won the limbo contest.

Alright. Time for our daily ab work out. Abby is our coach - she is nuts.
