Profile

About: My name is Blake; I was born in Austin but raised in Georgetown, Texas. I was blessed with an older sister and two loving parents. I’m a junior at the University of Texas which happens to be my 4th school; I adventured around Texas somewhat while seeking an education. In order, I have gone to Austin Community College, Blinn College (in Bryan), Texas State University, and finally the University of Texas! When I graduate I plan on getting my masters in speech pathology, so that I can help people overcome their speech disorders and improve their life. I enjoy getting to meet new people and be out and about, so I can't wait for summer of 2015 when I'll be able to meet people from all over the country.

Why I Ride

I ride for my grandmother who passed away from cancer. I grew up very close to her and she was the most upbeat and positive person I’ve had the pleasure to know. She was so strong and selfless, in the last bit of time she had in life she wrote out personal birthday cards to all her children and grandchildren; she also made blankets for all of her future great grandchildren that she wouldn’t get to see; those are just a few of the many examples showing how thoughtful and loving she was. I also ride for friends, family and the people that I randomly meet who have been affected by cancer.
