I'm from McAllen, lived in Ireland for a couple of years and ended up living in Houston for the last half of my life. I'm doing a dual major, I think, of RTF and Philosophy. I want to write screenplays and hopefully I'll learn how to write them in RTF and what to write about in Philosophy. I love my Jeep and off-road whenever I get the chance. I pretty much just like to do anything thats new or fun.

When I first heard about this group, I thought it was insane. Is that even possible? But when I found out more about it, learnt that they were actually going to do it, I was in awe. How were these people so motivated? So, I joined and became very involved. I witnessed first-hand, how inspiration and dedication could lead to tremendous results.

I'm doing this ride because I want to inspire others the same way this organization has inspired me. This organization got me off the couch, involved with an incredible cause and built my confidence. I have learnt so much and we havent even left Austin yet.

This trip is going to probably be the hardest thing I've ever done, but I'm going to learn some great things doing it. Most importantly, I'm going to learn what it takes to motivate yourself and keep fighting despite having a long, tough road ahead of you. That is what I can share with others. I want to share what I learn and give hope to those struggling.
