2015 Team Reaches Anchorage!
It’s official – the 2015 Texas 4000 team crossed the finish line Friday in Anchorage, Alaska after a 70-day journey (on bicylces) from Austin, Texas! We hope this gives you a glimpse into an experience that is challenging to capture in words and photos and we thank you for the part you played in getting our riders to this point.
“For 70 days and the 18 months before, my teammates and I have dedicated our lives to sharing Hope, Knowledge and Charity across the continent. And I can proudly say we did just that. We interacted with cancer patients and survivors in each and every city we visited, and hearing their stories only empowered us further to reach our final destination. Now that we have crossed the finish line, and can say that we have biked from Texas to Alaska, I am lost for words. The friendships made, the lives changed, the lessons learned, and the places we’ve been will forever have an imprint on my life. Thank you Texas 4000 for an experience of a lifetime. I am forever grateful!” – Tatiana Jessen, Ozarks route
