About: My name's Ezequiel, but most call me Zeke. I was born in BA, Argentina on September 7th, 1987. I lived in Vancouver for a while and now I live in Florida. I speak English, Spanish, as well as some French and Hebrew. Im a second year Anthropology and Sociology major at the University of Florida and one day hope to work abroad and make a difference in 3rd world nations. I lead backpacking trips with TRiP, the travel and recreation program, which is a pretty awesome gig. I swam on a USS swim team for a time in high school (and no, it isn't fun waking up at 4:30 in the AM to swim, trust me) Apart from that, I love playing guitar, dancing, and just laughing and having a good time.

Why I Ride

I was told about the Texas 4000 and almost instantly knew I wanted to do it. It still hasn't hit me how much i'll be riding this summer, but I know it will be worth every mile. I've personally been affected by cancer with one of my good friends in Argentina losing his mother a little over a year ago. Also, a little cousin of mine, Adan, who lives in Austin went was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. He underwent Chemotherapy and well as radiation treatment, and has been able to recover. I feel that it is a disease that affects almost everyone in one way or another, and I just want to do my part, however small, to ensure that we raise awareness and hopefully someday find a cure.
