About: I was born in Houston and lived there for about 2 years and then in Louisiana for 3 years before returning to Houston, actually Katy, for my kindergarten year where I have lived since then. I come from a household with a brother, sister and two loving parents who have taught me the value of hard work and of having a strong faith and trusting in the Lord. In all those things, I have worked hard in school, sports, and serving in the community and my church. I am a freshman at UT and am a business major although I should be undeclared because I have no idea what I am going to do.
I like playing any sport ever created and if I have never played it before I will surely learn and probably enjoy it. My favourite sports are basketball, football, baseball, and Ultimate. I like doing anything outdoors and thoroughly enjoy camping and mountain climbing.
I saw Texas 4000 at the student fair day and was instantly hooked for some reason. It appealed to my sense of adventure and my desire to help the helpless. I hope that I can grow stronger in my faith through this trip as well as be able to make a difference in the fight against cancer and an impact on those affected by it.

Why I Ride

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"

Matthew 25:40

I continue to ride this summmer for Paw Paw Pete.
