About: I grew up in San Antonio Texas and I have been blessed throughout my life by being surrounded by people who love and adore me. Early on, I found a love for acting on the stage. This hobby grew into something I decided to do as a career. Acting has indeed taken a strong foothold in my life and I enjoy the process that it takes to put on a production onstage and off. I have been fortunate to have the best of both worlds under my belt: the artistic nuances of an artist, and the systematic logic of a technician.

I have also been blessed with the gift of travel. I have been to many places throughout world. Mexico, China, England, Italy, Greece, Costa Rica, and France. I love learning about new cultures and I'm always trying to learn new skills.

Why I Ride

I ride for one individual who changed my life in ways he probably never knew.

At the age of 13 I lost a friend named Kellen Beck. He fought hard against Leukemia for about 3 years, and his death came as quite a shock to me. At that age, death didn't really seem a possibility. I even remember telling a friend over the phone "Of course he'll get better, he'll probably be fine by next week." As if cancer were just a cold.

He was extraordinarily brave. To this day I don't know how he managed to stay so brave, so optimistic. A few weeks before his death he told his mother "I'm not afraid of the dark anymore"

At his funeral, as I was crying, my mother took me into her arms and told me ten words that I can still hear perfectly, ten words I will never forget for the rest of my life

"You have to live for the both of you now."

At that moment I knew what I needed to do and what it meant. I wanted to see the world. I wanted to experience it all. I wanted to live dreams and breathe wishes. I wanted to run into stars and sleep in waterfalls. I wanted to live a life to it's absolute fullest because I know that's what Kellen would have done had he been given the chance. I wanted to exude his optimism and his constant caring for others. He will always be my inspiration.
