Texas 4000 get new executive director

Texas 4000, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating student leaders and engaging communities in the fight against cancer, has named Scott Crews as its new executive director.

Crews joins the organization with more than 25 years of leadership experience and 14 years of nonprofit experience. He most recently served as director of partnerships and engagement at Common Threads, managing corporate partnerships with companies like United Airlines and Quaker.

Prior to that, Crews worked for more than a decade with Make-A-Wish in Austin and Orlando.
