“World’s Longest Charity Bike Ride Stops in Bozeman”
Many groups are working to raise money for cancer research, but none of them go to the lengths that the Livestrong Texas 4000 Cycling Trek goes. For 70 days, spanning four-thousand miles, bike riders will pedal from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska.
This is the sixth year for the ride, and in that time the group has raised nearly 3-million dollars for cancer research. In fact, many of the riders are participating on honor of a loved one who has faced the reality of cancer.
28 days in to the trip found the riders in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. They arrived in Bozeman Sunday afternoon to rain and lightning.
The trek will conclude August 27th at the Anchorage Hyatt Regency Hotel
